Behind the shopfront.
A website or app is a lot like a shop. The screen is what customers see. A few thoughtful decisions behind it make the business work.
Explore the shop. Pick a number or a topic.
Payments & everything around them
An EFTPOS terminal takes a payment. It doesn't organise the whole shop. Online, we also need to decide what happens before, during and after someone pays.
The useful questions
- Who can issue refunds, and where are they recorded?
- Who receives the receipt, confirmation and staff alert?
- What happens when payment fails or the price changes?
“We just need payments.”
The button is one part. The rest is making sure the customer knows they've paid, the owner knows what to do next, and there's a clear way to handle a refund or a failed transaction.
1Customer pays

Not every business needs every feature. Our job is to help choose the simplest setup that works, and agree what it includes before building.
